The Oyster Bar @ David Jones

Mums is over for a visit... so that generally means we eat lots of yummy things at lots of yummy places.
I like all things that are of the delicious variety.
I do.

Mama had the delicious Seafood Plate with a glass of Howard park Reisling

And I had a dozen oysters morney with a glass of pinot noir... i forget which one.

Lunches one or two of them

I eat lunch most days... sometimes ill only eat one thing for a few weeks and then switch to the next.
Very exciting life I lead.

Windsor Castle

I very rarely head over the 'other-side' (the other side being south of the river) so when two of my lovely girlfriends thought we should have dinner at this hotel I was a little wary of what it would be like.
It turned out to be quite nice, we got a lovely booth, had great service and the food was sublime (I naturally forgot to take photos out of excitement) the only thing was everytime you left the table there were a lot of dickheads and by a lot i mean pretty much the entire place.
Am I getting old and bitter or do they have breeding places?

Friday Night = Korean BBQ Night

Friday night is now a fairly large blur for me... it included (but was not limited too) A dinner with Sammy before she flew to Perth, a housewarming party, a rolled ankle and a MASSIVE beer/wine dog woofing in my head on Saturday morning.

Lets have a look at the food...
Sammy had BBQ Pork Ribs, she loved them

I had the Prawns, they were huge!

I love Korean BBQ, it makes my heart smile.

No post from dinner

I drank all the wine and forgot to take photos.
But its nearly the weekend, this is when I indulge so happy times.

Mushroom Burgers... Mmmm

Before I start with the pitures I must be honest, I got way too excited about eating the food I didnt take a proper burger photo, that went in my large cave-like stomach... anyway I went to Lys and Vinnies for dinner, Lys is the best cook and always comes out with amazing new recipes (I mean how many vege recipes can one think of!)

So on the menu was mushroom and cheese patties for burgers, with olive bread.




Then for desert we had self-saucing chocolate pudding... again i got way too excited and ate most of it before taking a photo.
I think thats something that might happen often... Eeeep



And then I got to have cuddles with this fellow.

Mexicali Rose & Reggie Watts

So first post... whoo!

Last night we went to Mexicali Rose for dinner in Richmond before seeing the amazing Reggie Watts.





We ate light so we wouldnt fall asleep on our feet during the show (its happened before!)

Nachos are pretty much one of my favourite things...



And then my favourite dish in the entire world, I decided if I was on death row that this is what I would eat!



Then we drank some dranks and lurked before seeing Reggie Watts, the most incredible he was... youtube that.
